Then, in your estimation, Corinthians needs to be tossed???

Long after Christ publicly uttered the words "it is finished" from the cross I suppose Paul was wrong to "proclaim Christ crucified" (I Cor 1) and "know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified" (I Cor 2)?

Pahlease! Hardly. Christ is not suffering any more however to pay for our sins. The job has been completed. He was crucified but He arose. If He was crucified but did not arise then we would still be in our sins. The Resurrection completes the good news. If He was still on the cross, then He would be a mere man and His sacrifice wouldn't have sufficed for anything.

If you are going to have a human "Lamb of God" that takes away the sin of the world,
then it would be very good to remember that that human 'Lamb' DIED,
just as those sacrifical ones had on countless Passovers past!
John 16:33
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
