10 Illegal Aliens arrested at San Diego nuclear submarine base
Roger Hedgecock Show (San Diego) ^ | January 28, 2002

Posted on 01/28/2002 2:05:28 PM PST by John Jorsett

KOGO AM 600 talk show host Roger Hedgecock has just broken the story that the INS has arrested ten illegal aliens (he gave the nationalities, but I can't recall any other than Honduras) at the Point Loma nuclear submarine base in San Diego. The aliens were employed by a contractor and were engaged in the sandblasting and painting of a nuclear submarine! 5 of the aliens had obtained base clearances, and 5 had not. Some aliens fled at the approach of the INS, causing the lockdown of the base. 2 were later apprehended when their hiding place was located. When the INS refused to comment, the KOGO news staff requested the name of the FBI agent in charge of Homeland Security for the San Diego area. They were told that there was none.

American citizens already have a wallet full of ID which is cross referenced on us evey time we turn around by people who have absolutely no business knowing anything about us.

Yep, AGAIN, it is the law abiding citizens that pay for the weaknesses of those in office who feel they have to appease the deep pocketed contributors that are behind this erosion of our freedoms. The system is upside down. It is a government of the lobbyists, by the lobbyists and for the lobbyists (ripped this off another Freeper). American citizens are becoming dammed into being eternal treadmilling sheep for the greater state of whatever One-World plans are in force in the beltway.

Prove to my satisfaction RIGHT NOW that you are a citizen.

Will a social security number do?

But they are hard working family people. They work hard in the lettuce fields and nuclear submarine bases. And besides, maybe they will be potential voters for the Republican party. 10 more could make a difference you know.

I wonder how many work at the CIA?

No big surprise. Both Parties have made --zero-- effort to round up and deport illegals. Nothing will be done until after a few more 9-11 events done by immigrants, if then.

Nobody cares. They'll relocate the 12,000 in your town, and if you complain, well, then you're a racist and don't count.

No, the Navy needed some help on their nuclear subs so they sent a truck over to Home Depot and picked up a few foreign looking guys to work at the nuclear sub base.

I don't see any problem with this.

Every poll I have seen suggests that the American people want illegals out by something like 3 to 1 or better and tighter controls on the borders. Well, guess what y'all. Politicians on neither side seem to care what the people want. The government has a different agenda and the people be damned.

Unfortunately, the people are no longer represented.

Well, I don't get any pleasure out of saying it, but I lean your direction on that one fella. An oath of office is an oath of office. Presidents swear to enforce the laws of this nation and to protect it's borders. I don't think it's hard to decide whether this one has or not.

Yes I thought given how out of control illegal immigration was by the time Bush was sworn in, that he would have made sealing off our borders as one of his first prime directives in office. The rude awakening for me came in August of last year when Bush first uttered the word "Amnesty" only to reintroduce it again 2 weeks ago after he apparently felt the heat on this subsided enough. Well, I guess if 9/11 is not enough of a reason for Bush to uphold his oath to protect America from “all enemies foreign and domestic”...nothing will. Seems that Bush has "other" plans for the America as we knew it... One of the crummy things about getting older in American today is that you remember when things were a lot better. When America would never allow a corrupt two-bit 3rd world nation like Mexico stick its nose into our domestic affairs. This is a new low for America.
