I'm sure my New Jersey friends will find a chuckle or two here. For all the rest of you, here is a glimpse of life in "The Garden State."

Merde!
I've lived across the river from NJ most of my life, and *I* answered yes to nearly all the questions.

You rarely refer to an exit on the Jersey Turnpike by a name, always the number ... and they are not mileage numbers.

Good ones. I like the one about Willowbrook mall. 127 days and it'll all be a memory. I'm gettin' out.

Hey, I'm from Jersey, too. And I love it here.
Hell, I'd probably stay here forever if it weren't for the taxes and all these damned Democrats...

Pumping gas is for suckers. And may I add that you know you're from New Jersey if you know who Uncle Floyd is.

My wife always gets a kick out of watching me try to pump my own gas when we venture out-ot-state. I think I got the hang of it now, but I still mess it up just to make her smile...

21. You know that a "White Castle" is the name of BOTH a fast food chain AND a fast food sandwich. You guys have to give this back. WC was founded in Chicago, you're allowed to give us money buying the food, but you're not allowed to put it on any of your lists.

I grew up in "Northern" Jersey---my kids are still there. BUT, I moved to Tacoma Washington a few months ago and now spend my time photographing elk in the rain forests, hiking Mount Rainier, camping in the most awesome conifer forests in the world, and always getting wet from the perpetual rain. But I love it (although I do admit to missing my buttered roll in the morning!)

43. You still wonder if E.J. Korvettes really stod for Eight Jewish Korean Veterans
To: BluH2o
"Turnpike" should be added to the list!!!!

I grew up in South Jersey, and the army brought me here to Seattle 30 years ago. I never even thought of going back.

16. You remember the song from the Palisades Park commercialsPalisades Park! Loved that place as a kid. Have relatives in N.J., spent some time at the "shore", we call them "beaches" on L.I.

39. You remember the stores Korvette's, Rickel's, Channel, Bamburger's and Orbach's. How about Two Guys and Bradlees.
I live in South South Jersey and pump my own gas all the time and leave the car running. Screw'em.
I live so far south in Jersey Gas Stations won't take my used oil.

You guys have to give this back. But, I wonder, who sells the most "White Castles." I used to ship them to friends in Michigan. And yes, you can buy them in the freezer case too although I do not approve except in cases of extreme emergency!
To: Fzob
Two Guys is number 7. Did you remember they were from Harrison?
