Simon: Says he believes it's important for Republicans to be inclusive, but also to stick to principles. He says he is "pro-life."

Riordan: Says he is against abortion, but respects a woman's right to make her own decision.

Jones: Says federal law has ruled on the issue in Roe vs. Wade. He says there's not much a governor can do on the issue.

Well that pretty much nails it. Simon is the conservative, not just in his views, but in the way he has the COURAGE to articulate his views.

I just sent him an email congratulating him for standing tall and articulating the bold conservative message we haven't heard since Reagan. His email address is info@simonforgovernor.com.

Let's all send Bill Simon a short note and thank him for being prolife and for being an unapologetic conservative.

Of course the media NEVER talks about the Democrats' lack on inclusiveness in reaching out to pro-lifers. Pro-lifers are just a bunch of extremists to them. Similar to those who CHOOOOOOSE to own a firearm.

If this fellow is anything like his Dad, he'll be fine-- the elder Simon was a good man.

Jones: Agrees with Simon's proposals, but says he has the experience to balance a budget and get legislation past Democratic lawmakers. Also proposes a $2 billion budget reserve coupled with a "People's Fund" that voters would decide how to spend.

Jones has the experience? Is that why he pushed through Pete Wilson's huge 1991 tax increase while he (Jones) was Republican leader? Is that why he flipped on taxes? Abortion? Bush? Because of his experience? If that's what experience buys me, no thank you! I'll take an inexperienced politician any day!

And what's this stupid "People's Fund" idea? Another way to get out of making the tough decisions? The fact is, we need a leader ... and Bill Simon is the only one who proved to me that he can lead.
