"In July 1999, Glock survived an assassination attempt when he was bashed on the head with a hammer in an underground car park by a former member of the French Foreign Legion, who was arrested and is still in custody pending the outcome of the investigation."
Strange happenings. Wonder what the motive was there?

a former member of the French Foreign Legion, who was arrested in 1999 and is still in custody It's inhumane to keep a person imprisoned over 2½ years without even being charged.
