Just how many boycotts are going on?

While reading a Kmart thread, I saw a post about an anti-Rosie boycott. This is distressing to me because, quite frankly, there are a whole slew of boycotts out there and I have no idea that they are going on. Why, my hard earned money could be paying for some liberals champagne wishes and caviar dreams. I am making a general appeal that people post current conservative boycotts to this thread as a public service so that we have a semi-current list. I'll start:

Disney
Boycott started by Southern Baptists in ???
(Optional) started because of objectionable content/anti-family behavior
(Optional) Status: in-effect

Boycotts don't work.

If it makes you feel good to keep your kids away from everything Disney, knock yourself out.

But don't let anybody tell you that the boycott of Disney parks over gay days is hurting them. It ain't. Disney's hurting from overextended investments in studios and in movies that bombed.

We boycott CNN, CBS, ABC, Ted Turner, K Mart, Toyota, Levis, Denny's, Kensington Maryland, VISA, Washington Post and Baltimore Sun. Our life is better without them.

M&M/Mars. Because they didn't make good on the promise of a free case of M&M's for forwarding an e-mail about the millenium (get it? MM?)

Neiman Marcus. For charging $300.00 for a chocolate chip cookie recipe.

kmart started catering to "illegal mexicans" here in kalifornia...
alot of kalifornians said no to kmart,
they pissed of the 2nd amendment crowd,
n alot of them didn't go back...

don't know if boycotts work or not....
just know that "kmart is bankrupt..."

Besides, wouldn't want to stand out from all the other SUV-driving soccer parents by not buying our kids Disney products, now would we?

I boycott Levi products and CVS Pharmacy for their attack on the Boy Scouts.

I cut up my American Express card and mailed the pieces to them for their support of Planned Parenthood. I refrain from purchasing Proctor and Gamble products or patronizing K-Mart and Target for the same reason.

My television is never tuned to a major network due to sleaze and liberal bias.

I can't remember the last time I purchased a Ben & Jerry's, Disney product, or anything made in China.

I stopped frequenting Radio Shack and patronizing Sears when they pulled their advertising of Dr. Laura's program.

I DO buy Exxon/Mobil products for standing up to the homosexual activists, and I always refer to a Shepherd's Guide for Christian business owners. I only purchase beer and wine made in Virginia wineries and breweries. All pork products are from Smithfield, Virginia. And all chocolate is Hershey!

So far we boycott major news media, it's been successful, we boycott Tyson Chicken, made in China where possible, K-Mart, and Ford Motor which is hurting. So pay no attention to those that say they don't work. As far as our boycotts making the major news, they don't, that isn't the point, the point is to take out of existance entirely by starvation those Corporations that have attempted to destroy the Citizens of the USofA in some manner.

Tyson Chicken for hiring and importing illegals, K-Mart for being pro radical liberal and taking ammo off the shelves, the major news media is self explanitory, Ford because of the A.C.L.U. and China because we refuse to raise the economy of a rogue nation that our sons in grade school may have to grow up and fight.

I do a good job of it, but my hubby came home with some sports goods for the boy, and guess where they were made..

Boycott the boycotts. Look for BS along the thread. For instance someone buys Exxon because they stand up to homosexuals. Also, they dumped thousands of barrels of oil in Prince William Sound. So pick your issue and just jump right in and join the fun.

Can there be some sort of link on the home page so that we can continually keep track of boycotts? Whether or not they work, I know personally I like to avoid purchasing products of companies that work against the Conservative American Way of Life - and conversely, I like to patronize good companies, like Chick Fil A.

We can't boycott every company, but Levi's clothes and Disney products do not enter my house. If we have a choice over a necessary product we always try to choose the better one.

I like to think of our boycotts as the "Silent American Revolution", the sweet part is, these companies and entities just fold and sink beneath the waves of history, never to work against us again, never knowing what hit them, and without a shot being fired.
