Calling on Coonasses
Posted on 01/21/2002 2:51:24 PM PST by Conservababe
I was born and raised in South Louisiana, but don't have any contacts there now.
This year I have a craving for boiled crawfish with homemade dipping sauce (catsup, mayo, lemon juice,tabasco)...yes.
Anyone from there know a supplier that can ship live pond or wild crawfish to Southeast Missouri?

There is a great little resteraunt here that serves crawfish by the bucket on Thursdays. You could try giving them a call to find out who their supplier is.

There is no shortage of crawfish in Southern MO. So, where are they? Yes, I do see the pathetic already cooked and shipped crawfish in my local Schnucks...but I want live ones.
And no, I do not want to go crawfish netting in the backwaters of the Mississippi River...they are not worth the trouble, really.

Mulate's in Breaux Bridge has a big mail order business (This is the original, not in business with the NO and Baton Rouge restaurant of that name).
