EBAY> How do I get my Final Auction Value fee returned?

Ebay is trying to make it difficult for me to get back my $8 Final Auction Value fee. The buyer used "buy it now" to win an auction on a $325 item and never paid. Buyer had zero feedback and lived in Hungary. This goof ruined my auction. I want to hold onto this item for a few more months anyhow now but the auction was never consummated so I want my money back. Ebay seems to insist on a month long song and dance charade before they do right by me. Of sending this no-show buyer e-mails. And maybe they count on people forgetting.
Also eBay fees seem to have gone up from the last time I sold something a year ago

I filed form #1 last week. The 30 days of ridiculous e-mails to the non-buyer have already begun. THANKS for the second FORM and I will do this.

Good luck on that ebay question! Now I'll ask one! Does anybody know how to get chenille bedspread marks out of your face when the doorbell rings?
To: dennisw
Well, you'll have to get in touch with them anyway.

Can we find out what you thought you sold?

You have to wait 10 full 24 hour days after filing the NPB (non paying bidder) warning before they will let the FVF go through.

That's cool. My hot tip is to post auctions with Netscape 6.2.
If you want to go back one page to check things it is much easier. With Explorer you get session expired. Netscape also makes it easier to post long responses at Free Republic.

Click on eBay "Community" (up at the top of their home page) and then check out the chat boards. Sellers and buyers are discussing everything you need to know about eBay problems or questions and it's all organized by subject. Lots of helpful hints here.

Post #4 has the advice my husband just gave me.
Be cautious of people with zero feedback.
I hope things get straightened out.

Next time I am going to block them from some of my auctions. This non-buyer messed up a prime time (being that it was just before Christmas) auction.

Forget the chenille bedspread marks, how do you get your hair back down when it is standing up from sleeping on it? And no, water does not work on my hair.

Thank I will go there. Amazing ebay has no e-mail address. Their stock and operation is doing quite OK as opposed to other dot coms.
