Rush just commenting that reports of his hearing being back to 80% might be a bit premature, though he has definitely regained a lot of his ability to hear.
On another note,I'd be interested to get people's take on how Rush's voice sounds. I'd say he is not back to his pre-problem voice, but there does seem to be an improvement from the period when he had virtually no hearing. Your thoughts?

I'm listening on RealAudio and he sounds perfect!

It's what he says, not how he says it that's important. He sounds GREAT (as always) to me!

'On another note,I'd be interested to get people's take on how Rush's voice sounds." A little gravelly, but the pitch is better. It seems that the 'control board adjustments' made to compensate for the hearing loss and change of pitch will have to be reversed. I assume that the pre-loss voice will be reestablished through the 'sound board'. I just hope Rush hears well enough to recognize his 'old' voice the same as we do. The 'Voice of Conservative and Self-Thinking Americans' everywhere.

I would say Rushs voice is VERY close to before. More important, his pacing slowed back down, and the voice no longer sounds strained. It's close enough for "government" work.

I mentioned how well he
sounded earlier today. His tonal quality was higher pitched before today.
I thought he sounded wonderful.
