FOX has got some hellish photos of this, looks like. Unbelievable.

Makes you wonder when you consider that Yellowstone is one big volcanic caldera, the only saving grace being that it is farther from populated areas than this; on second thought, given its size, it's not far enough.

There's a huge and equally active caldera near Mammoth Mtn. in CA and it's overdue for blowing. Lookout downwind for about 3000 miles! It will be a true bummer. Either Kalipornia will die by earthquake or volcano so we need a government agency's scientific analysis to know for sure (yeah, right!).

Yellowstone is just 100 miles north of my new home. The geologic features around Pocatello are definitely volcanic.
