Then people must choose. Then people will have to actually do something about it, confront it, stand up and act. We fail to act, the enemy gains.

What do we choose? Choose to use the force of government to stop people from doing what they would choose to do privately? If the only arguments we can offer for not doing something is that it will land you in jail then we dont have much of an argument. A certain percentage of the population wants to engage in perversions. This will always be true. But we should not take the easy road and use government to stop this behavior. Government so empowered starts going after cigarettes, then candy, then ice cream. Once the government is in charge of morality we all had better fear. Because well come under its gun soon enough. And its definition of morality is something truly frithening.

What frithers the heck out of me is the way our society is living in the sewer.

Far be it from me to ask the government to do that which is my own responsibility. The very reason these perversions are ever on the rise and increasingly visible is precisely because we as citizens have asked the government to do things that are not possible for the government to do. When we look away, and say "it's not my job" to restrain evil, evil gets the day.

I'm not talking about violent crime; of course we need a police force and so forth. But these types of moral assaults must be resisted on the spot, by the person or persons that are present. And I'm not talking about assaulting anyone, either. Simply protesting; resisting; not allowing it to go unapposed. If there is a public place where the perversions abound, it should be occupied. We must become aggressive, and non-violently do what needs to be done, ourselves.
