YOu get a bigger picture when you step back and see what the world sees: the moral climate of the U.S.
In all cultures, those who are put in a position to judge others are presumed to be of moral character. I am simply ashamed that the permissive atmoshere allows people who are blessed with goood fortune debase themsleves.
It is also telling about where we are as a country when here, on a conservative board, people tend to view such events as amusing or political.
Death of the outrage. Death of the cluture.
I'd rather use the word to describe this as "common" That's why it seems we have entered into the Death of the outrage, Death of the culture.
If you see people slaughtered in the streets everyday, it will become common, it's a natural reaction to deal with distrubing things.
BTW, I do get THE BIG PICTURE.
Yes, the culture is dead. We are simply watching the death throes. It is a sad time to see.
