It is also telling about where we are as a country when here, on a conservative board, people tend to view such events as amusing or political.

I'd rather use the word to describe this as "common" That's why it seems we have entered into the Death of the outrage, Death of the culture.

If you see people slaughtered in the streets everyday, it will become common, it's a natural reaction to deal with distrubing things.

BTW, I do get THE BIG PICTURE.

Incidentally, how common were killings to Moses? Yet he and the followers shrugged off the "regularity" of murder, incest, etc. --- deeds we deem immoral since then. Surely it is easier for you and me than to anyone at that time.

I leader never looses the sight of what ought to be. One becomes a follwer once he resigns to "reality."

I am glad you see the big picture.
