I'm sure she was properly vetted before being sent up. I'm going out on a limb here but I'll bet her congresscritter is Bwahney Frank.
I know her both personally and professionally, and she's a great person -- really. Apparently her husband had some self-hating need to undermine her (i.e., jealous of her success)-- that's the only way I can understand this.
