The most surprising sentence in the article to me was this one .....

I wish more of the American media would admit that much! Of course, it is due to the media that the public perceptions were so wrong.

Precisely the line that jumped out at me, kayak! It is not the President who has changed, it is the misperception that has been corrected.

As to the Enron thing, and the fact that this administration did the right thing, the word that comes to mind is INTEGRITY!!!

Absolutely. The media isn't giving out the facts and letting the public decide, they are trying to form public opinion. It must just be killing them that people are seeing through this and making their own decisions about what kind of man President Bush is.
