Great article, but why, after spending all that time teaching their children at home, would they send their kids to Brown?

Kinda picked, poked, and skimmed around on this article...didn't read it all. But...my first thought was the author is trying to claim ( hi-jack..) the HS'ing movement from all us political fundamentalist iconoclast's ROFLOL..!!!

"It's my job to raise my children," Alison Brion remembers thinking. "It didn't seem unusual that I should continue what I started." No it doesn't. In fact, it seems pretty intuitive.
On the other hand, turning your child over to complete strangers and a classroom full of children doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
(Thanks for the ping)
