[history]
SAN ANTONIO -- Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman's most potent political weapon - his moral authority - came under harsh questioning Thursday following news that his staff met with Enron officials and did not tell him for months.
As the Connecticut Democrat prepares to conduct hearings on the fall of the Houston-based company beginning Thursday, reformers were skeptical of their worth and Republicans gleefully found they had an issue to make Lieberman look like just another politician with big ambitions.

Maybe registered's logo should be updated with the 2004 election year and a drop of Enron oil greasing up his election chances! Can you imagine how the stability of the post 9/11 world would be effected if the American public elected a jew for president?

"You can take joe out of CT, but you can't take the LIE out of LIEberman." WOW! What a GREAT slogan for a protest rally sign! Hope you don't mind, but I'm gonna use it myself if that phony runs again for national office again, and I get the opportunity. :D

"But the truth of the matter is that he got much more than that." Will Lieberman lie about getting ENRON / ANDERSON money through his, and the DemocRAT party's front groups?
What is that total, Lieberman?

Now you know how "W" felt when someone told him this while he was eating a pretzel.

The reporter, is a sycophant for unc joe. If you followed his weekly diatribes, you would begin to wonder, like me, if "Mr. Lightman" isn't really Leiberman's nom de plume.

Okay ken, we're even. Now, did I ever tell you I've been a Bear fan since they drafted the 'Kansas Comet' back in '65? Great work on ENRON BTW.

Lieberman may have gotten only $2K, but Lieberman-run organizations got $250K. That is a chunk of change. Tell you one thing -- if that committee gives anyone immunity, I am going to wonder whether it is a sweetheart deal. You know, payment for services rendered.
