The dangers of the surgery can't possible outweigh (groan) the dangers of gross obesity. Imagine carrying around a 20 pound sack of potatoes with you all day, how tiring that would be. Then multiply it by 5, 7 or 10 times. It must be like walking on the moon after fighting gravity with the extra poundage for so long.

Sale at Bealls, have to get a couple of shirts for the boys. BBL

I think they stapled her stomach down to the size that it could only hold about 6 ounces of food. For a while she had to eat about every 3 hours, because she could only eat a little bit at a time.

When My Sweetie and I split up, she was finally getting to where she could eat a small meal-sized amount of food at one time.

It was a major ordeal, but I have to say that I think she is much happier now, and it looks like it was a good thing to do.

CG, she ought to be able to reverse the buttons on her mouse by using the 'mouse' control panel.

If it is a '95, '98, or NT box, just go under the 'start' button menu to the 'control panel.' When the 'control panel' window comes up, just double click on the 'mouse' icon...

That will reverse the buttons OK, and Logitech has a new Optical mouse that has a completely symetrical set of buttons, including the thumb (back) button.

I have been looking, because when I have shoulder surgery this winter, I will be wrong handed for a while

Hey - good luck on the shoulder job. The MicroSoft Internet keyboard, with all its HotKeys, and the MS neutered, optical, symmetrical, mouse are working very well for me.

I know what chemicals to imbibe to see something like that, but I didn't know it could be photographed

ROTFL!! And just what do you think people are called who encourage this kind of behavior? Ratty, you betray your perverse leanings.

In the February issue of ELLE magazine there's a story of a woman who had stomach stapling done and she looks great now

I have a friend who had it done 3 weeks ago and has been in such constant pain with complications and continuous dry heaves that even people who don't like him feel sorry for him. But he is losing 20 pounds a week
