Look at the tortured language in "anti-gun-control lobbies." All to layer on more and more laws and impediments to legal commerce.

Someone hasn't been keeping up with recent 9th Circuit Court decisions.
As a resident of "conservative" Orange County, I can tell you that Irvine has long flirted with socialistic tendencies. Maybe it has to do with the proximity of the University of California campus, I don't know... But during the 80's, they issued all kinds of anti-Reagan resolutions, had Nicaraguan sister cities, etc., etc. Meanwhile, the town is the stereotype of the planned, efficient, strip-mall blighted burb. I guess for some reason that the guilty affluent are attracted to it, because it's certainly not home to social outcasts or the economically disaffected.
So the law-abiding citizen is degraded to the status of felons?
This tendency to penalize those who have not broken the law in favor of those who have seems to be a hallmark of liberals.
