Is there any way you could post it as a lead post - its own thread.

That's against my religion -- hehe. I promise myself I would never do that -- and I'm sticking to my commitment ;^)

Makes it look like there's a Very Sensitive detail under-lying the answer.

You really are a kook, you know that, davis.

You really and truly are.

Who the hell knows where these people are? You seem to be the only one (along with Forbes.com) who cares.

BTW, there's no such thing as "79 TOP executives." There are only two or three TOP executives.

Everybody else is something else.

Would it be a stretch to assume that perhaps some of these execs don't even exist?

We've been Snowballed on several other major crashes.

Unless you were a stockholder in one of the companies involved in those "crashes," they are, frankly, none of your business.

I'm surprised you, as a NWO globaloneyist, aren't jumping up and down for joy that a big ole corporation bit the dust.

It burns me no small amount when people like Enron mouths think we're dumb enough to buy into any Lie they put out.

It burns you? Did you own Enron stock? Were you one of those who didn't sell when all the signs were there TO sell?

Sounds to me like your trolling for another conspiracy.

I know you tin-foilers need some fresh meat from time to time.

We're Graced with the presence of the great sinkspur and his usual quality input.

Mancini, note the slings and arrows. :-)

My kudos (again!) John.

The first reaction of the modern Democrat party, as personified by the Clinton Administration to a mess like this in a large company is to wade hip-deep into the mire and try to assist (save) their patrons. The first reaction of the Bush Administration was to keep their hands off.

This, as much as anything I've seen in recent years portrays vividly the difference between Republicans and Democrats.

And shows the dead-on lie of the Democrat position on campaign finance reform. If the Democrats stopped acting like fascists, they might at least avoid such overt hypocrisy.

That's it in a nutshell, my friend. Well said.

Looks like character counts, after all.

I just love these short ones that even browsing readers will digest. They won't go thru the whole thread, but they register that something's there by the bumps it gets.

Diversion only works sometimes ;-)

You really never input anything but ad hominen bites, do you?

And you never post anything that doesn't have some sort of conspiratorial slant to it, do you?

It goes right over your pointed head that 1) nobody here knows about the 79 "executives" nor 2) does anybody care.

What's more, you think you own a thread because it has your name on it. JH2 posts a brilliant article, and you pout because nobody pays any attention to your goofy scavenger hunt.

"These unanswered questions are part of a pattern with Enron. No one really knows how it got so rich, or what it was doing with the many private partnerships managed by its executives."

There's a good issue there. Kind of a status report on our fictious economy, and the house of cards nature of it.

The Democrats, who only days ago could barely contain their glee -- champing at the bit to tar and
feather Bush with the ghastly Enron debacle -- are abruptly succumbing to a surprising case of cold feet.

I seem to remember a Patsy Schroeder from Colorado who, when it was found out that she had taken money that
hinted at an illegality, quit Congress. And she had even purchased new bumperstickers for her next campaign.
