Rush is nothing but an entertainer. He'll tell you that he's an entertainer. That's what he does, he entertains. He uses "conservative" politics as a medium, but he's only an entertainer.
He's also something worse. He's a "Judas Goat." A Judas Goat is the first goat to lead the other goats into one end of the slaughterhouse but he's the only one to walk out of the other end.
Picking on DemocRats is easy just as talk is cheap. Anybody can do it; some can do it with better style than others. So what? Picking on the multi-national, corporate banking cartel and their stooges at the Feral Reserve is something else entirely. Rush would take on that challenge with as much enthusiasm as an invitation to an infectious disease quarantine ward.
What you sense about Rush is an example of something sorely missing in this country, good, ol' blue-collar common sense.
We also call it class envy. But your words are sure prettier.
Yes, many of us sense in Rush, the "good, ol' blue-collar common sense" that is sadly missing from so many in the media these days.
Rush's ability to put together some of the most informed commentaries on the issues while maintaining a good ol' down to earth common sense perspective is nothing more than amazing.
He knows how to frame complex issues in simple clear cut terms, which is a sign of a very high intelligence.
He's #1 because he is the best at what he does.
Non sequitor -- whatever your intention was.
