I have been a republican for over 20 years now. I am conservative in my beliefs. I am a construction electrician and a member of a union. I catch hell every election from people I work with over the way I vote.

I believe that abortion is wrong. I believe that special intrests are wrong. I believe that owning firearms is our constitutional right. I believe that perversion is wrong (homosexual rights).I believe in God and that this country was founded on a belief in God. I was in the military for 4 years and would sign up again if I I could be of use to my country. But... I believe Rush Limbaugh is a rich guy who is only out for the rich.I believe he was a complete failure for most of his life. I believe he would still be a failure if not for the clintons, and I believe he is a hypocrite.

Now, you can flame me if you like but Ill bet you if anything drastic ever happens to America Limbaugh would be one of the the first ones out, on a plane to some other country.

Hey they don't have any rich people in Afghanistan. They don't have any need for any Union Electricians either.

Thank you for this thread. I think I know what you mean, even though I like most of what Rush has to say. Today, Rush was feeling sorry for Kenneth Lay because he (Lay) sold his Enron stock for only $100 million, when it would possibly have been worth $1 billion if he had sold earlier. That doesn't work for me. I have no sympathy for Mr. Lay at all.

You make broad statements without supplying a good argument. It has been stated here over and over that Rush was a sucess before Clinton was a household word, yet you fall back on the statement that the election of Clinton was the cause of his success.

My guess is that you are a Democrat disrupter or a thirteen year old with pimples trying for your fifteen minutes of fame on the internet.

Next time, come up with a meaningfull vanity post. We discuss issues here mostly. Rush is not a issue.

Great minds talk about issues, ideas, things and places.

Small minds say derogatory things about people.

But if you must, have your research and your defenses ready because you will be challenged. If only to see just what you are made of.

No matter what you think of Mr. Limbaugh, when he hit the national airwaves in 1988, he completely changed the face of radio, influenced millions, and gave a lone voice to the values you profess to hold.

Now, if you want to see how strong Rush still is, count the number of responses to this thread when it is finished, and go back and check other threads devoted to Rush. No other person or subject generates as much comment, even from people like me who only post now and then. Skoal

Lets see reasonable analysis...hmmmmm...My reason for posting this is that I just read a post on this board saying how great Limbaugh is, that was someones opinion, my opinion is that Limbaugh is a rich guy who is only concerned about his self and other rich people.

Could you now clarify your opinion of Limbaugh with some facts that demonstrate why he's only concerned with the rich?

Get real. You're only reason for posting was because you missed the point of my comment. Otherwise you wouldn't have replied. And yes I do have an opinion of Rush. But you wouldn't "get" that, either.
