I have been a republican for over 20 years now. I am conservative in my beliefs. I am a construction electrician and a member of a union. I catch hell every election from people I work with over the way I vote.

I believe that abortion is wrong. I believe that special intrests are wrong. I believe that owning firearms is our constitutional right. I believe that perversion is wrong (homosexual rights).I believe in God and that this country was founded on a belief in God. I was in the military for 4 years and would sign up again if I I could be of use to my country. But... I believe Rush Limbaugh is a rich guy who is only out for the rich.I believe he was a complete failure for most of his life. I believe he would still be a failure if not for the clintons, and I believe he is a hypocrite.

Now, you can flame me if you like but Ill bet you if anything drastic ever happens to America Limbaugh would be one of the the first ones out, on a plane to some other country.

Interesting! Rush obviously said something that got your goat. Sure he's rich and he's enjoying life. But remember that while we are all opinionated none of us are without a flaw or two. Rush has the bullypulpit and the rest of us have to beller around a cafe coffee table or on Free Republic. And, who knows, maybe we get a little hypocritical once in a while. But, Rush does lift the lid on a lot of things that you and I wouldn't know about if he weren't on the air. For that I'm thankful.

Limbaugh volunteered for service in Vietnam but was rejected because of a medical condition. He is anything but a coward. Rush is also pretty fit and could take most people his age in a fistfight. Rush earned his fortune the hard way and deserves all the success he has gotten. Let's not attack the guy.

I would say Limbaugh ain't looking out for the little guy, but I don't think he should be demonized for that, not that you are. But it is silly and incorrect to say the clintons got him where he is.

Rush started his national show about 1988 or 1989. He was a success and on hundreds of stations by 1992. The rapist in chief helped his career, but it didn't make him the rich and powerfull man that you despise, he did that on his own.

When I'm finally rich, people could probably say I had been a failure for most of my life. So? Rush was a SUCCESS long before the Clintons (twofer) were ever elected to national office, and he'll be at the top long after they are tossed into the dustbin of history.
