I know that you guys have already seen this (except for possibly Jeff who didn't comment on the other threads), but I thought I'd ping in with my own $0.02.

Guns pointed at the head of a man for whom they have so little evidence that they can't even get some sort of "emergency" search warrant issued on short notice. They stuck a freakin' gun in his face without cause, and threatened to oust him from his own home (once again without cause) unless he signed their consent to search form. Unbelieveable!

This didn't happen to me, but I'm almost as mad as if it had.

One small misstep by this man and he would have been dead. It's a good thing he didn't answer the door they way I do in the middle of the night: gun in hand. If this had been me, I would have been dead. What's a guy to do when unidentified people show up at his door late at night and then jam a pistol in his face?

I'm finding it almost impossible to express how angry this has made me. Last time I checked, this is still the United States of America. But if this incident just goes away, and no one is held accountable, I'll have to start questioning whether it really is anymore.

LEO's better get wise fast, lots of homes now have ADT style alarm systems and a panic alarm starts a recorder, in some cases both video and voice and the storage of the info is at the monitoring facility and IMHO they will have to have a court order to sieze that from the private company and or shut up all employees who view and are aware of such a unconstitutional criminal act of home invasion.

Add to that the small digital voice recorders that "some" (;o) carry on the visors of their autos and turn on when stopped by LEO's or involved in an accident.........

I even have a small 36 picture capacity disposable camera for such "accidents" should they ever occur.........albeit hard to snap pics while being cuffed and stuffed.

Indeed a sad day when such as this is allowed to go unexplained and those involved held unaccountable for their actions.

I just saw this this AM. I am incensed over this travesty. It is sheer good fortune that this man was not killed. Had he resisted the unidentified individuals there might well have been dead on both sides but it is most probable that he and his girlfriend would both be deceased. Here we have a man whose only crime it seems is that he was sleeping on a Subday morning.

Now where specifically in any Federal Law does it give Federal agents the right to seize lawfully owned property without a warrant or evidence of a crime. I note that the anonymous informant seems to be the source for a whole lot a raids where nothing is found. The question regarding anthrax is insane. Anthrax spores are ubiquitos in this country due to the fact that they are probably present anywhere cloven hoofed animals have grazed. Unless a person has either a whole lot of equipment for safe storage and loading of anthrax spore dust and or at least enough biochemistry knowledge to have a master of Sciece degree in that discipline there is no way they can avoid contaminating themselves in the weaponization of anthrax process. No officer particpating in this raid should ever collect another dime of the public's money. They should be prosecuted for assault in the highest degree, breaking and entering, mcriminal threatening, conspiracy to deprive this man of his civil rights while acting under the color of law enforcement and many other charges.

On another thread someone mentioned that they had called the local Sheriff's office and did not get any contradictionof the story. That in itself is a confirmation of the facts as stated in the article.

It is likely to get very nasty in this nation very soon. Had this been happening to me I would most likely be dead but I would have taken some of these criminals with me.
