It appears that these guys get to experience their first Cuban mosquitos. Think they'll like em?

Don't get your hopes up... they're right on the coast and if it is anything like FL, there's going to be a sea breeze; though they might get the more permanent detention cells done before summer anyway. On the other hand, a good wind will make the sand sting like a fire ants attack. That is, whatever the mosquitos don't get first. (Since we sprayed, I guess they don't get mosquito nets?) I hope the spray they used was some environmentally-friendly stuff approved by Al Gore. That way it won't work.

I was really hoping they would have some nice American patriotic music to put them to sleep. Surely one of our brave soliders has a small, portable, CD player that could be placed in such a location (such as the camp PA system) so that everyone could enjoy it.

"[Friday] night was very peaceful; I would say it was calm and peaceful," Carrico said. "Once we issued comfort items and got them in their individual units, they were prone, sleeping."

"The detainees have a foam rubber sleeping mat and two towels -- one for bathing and another for a prayer mat, Cox said. They also will receive a bar of soap, a squeeze bottle of shampoo, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and flip-flop sandals for showers."

"Carrico added that the prisoners will be given a copy of the Koran as part of their "comfort items."

"As for meals, Cox said, there will be three per day. Breakfast and dinner will be hot meals, with water as a beverage. They'll also have access to cereal, raisins, peanuts and granola bars."

This is jail?
Three squares w/yuppie bars ... clean bods, clean teeth, clean (I assume) and comfortable beds (compared to lizard infested caves) ... continually warm weather (the occasional hurricane excluded) ... your own jail-house, gummint sanctioned 'religion' (just like in the states)!

Freepin' libs at their freepin' best.

Two years in the sun n' they'll be in Miami collecting food stamps, attending American colleges ... maybe even Pensicola so they can infect further what is still somewhat a fundamentallly Christian school, job training to earn the big bucks that will supply more terroristic activities ...

Never mind, I guess my tin-foil is wrapped a little too tight.
