A friend of mine said she was listening to Rush this morning and heard him say that Tom Daschle was banned from Victoria's Secret or something to that effect. He might have just been joking I cant say for sure. Can anyone confirm this for me?

I didn't hear Rush today, but doubt that it's true......Victoria's Secret doesn't really target the "petite set", if you know what I mean.....
To: fiftymegaton
Yeah, he was. They told him that if he was gonna try, he had to buy.

He probably threw a hissy fit in the store when he found all their bikini panties were way too big for him.

He was joking.
Here's a link to Rush's website where he talks about it.
OTOH, makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Don't know but now is the time to shop. Victoria Secrets is having their semi-annual clearance sale!

Yes... alas, this tale is true... apparently, Tom "Thumb" Daschle was caught by a store security guard with a boxcutter, with which he was, allegedly, cutting up a bra - removing the straps, and seperating the cups - so that he could buy it as two pair of underwear...

Yea, I heard he got bust-in-the-mouth and was asked not to return........not!!

Thanks I figured it was probably a joke but didnt know for sure.

Maybe he wanted to sell 'Victoria's Secret' to the Chinese for campaign contributions, or something.

Even if it were true, little Tommy can always get BillyBoy to go into V's S and purchase his undies for him.

Yes, he said it yesterday when he was was comparing him to GWB. Ie. Bush - Harvard MBA Daschle - Political Science at SDU. Bush 11 years in private business, Daschle none Bush 5 years building baseball franchise, Daschle ? years aid to Liberal congresman. And so on. At the end of the list he said Bush - can buy at Victoria's Secret, Daschle Not. (then he says " I just said that to turn heads(sic)".
Worked too.

Too funny....

Hmmmm....many a true word is spoken in jest. I think Rush may know something about Daschle that we don't know. Could he be one of "the boys" who were frequently invited to Condit's apartment for gay romps?

Daschle could "accidently" look up a woman's dress in Victoria's Secret without even bending or sitting down.
