Thanks for the article link. Not sure where I draw the line, or how much I subscribe to, but I recall articles and a documentary on the "first" humans in south america being black.
Apparently, aboriginals from Australia managed to survive a pacific trek to the continent, and flourished, until the arrival of the 1st through 3rd waves of humans across the bering straits.
Those "Indians" wiped out all but a trace of that people, which had possibly spread through most of the South American continent.
So much to learn, so little time.

The direct gene line that produced everyone else in the world except the Africans has died out in Africa. Everyone else in the world are more related to themselves than they are to anyone in Africa.
