What's your argument against a conservative pro-life Democrat exactly? Considering your average RINO is a liberal as a liberal Rat I don't see why a good conservative wouldn't vote for a conservative Democrat. Don't forget here Casey's father was muzzled at the national conventions of his party become he was deemed to be too right wing to be a Democrat. We should welcome pro life individuals in both parties in Congress and the more of them we have the better chance there'll be of ensuring Roe V Wade at some point becomes history.

I lost a bit of respect for Gov. Casey after he was snubbed at the 1992 convention. If I had been in his position, I would have told the Democrats to f#ck off and endorsed President Bush in the election.

You've got to get past the tunnel vision. Casey is NOT a conservative. He is on the abortion issue but on things like taxes, spending, death penalty and schools, he is far from conservative. Fisher is no liberal. He is a tough law and order AG, who is much more fiscally restrained.

Casey's father may have been a "hero" for being muzzled at the Dem convention but that's as far as his "conservative" credentials go. I've lived through 8 years of one Casey and I damn sure don't want 4 more.

As long as the Clintons are in the party with their odious plans for returning to the White House, I will never vote for a democrat, and I don't care if it is someone like Mother Theresa running.

Governors control a lot of stuff that goes on in a state, and when the dem governors get control, pretty soon the legislatures turn up the same way...like has happened here in Indiana. It doesn't matter how conservative the democrat governor is, dems at the national level get their support and money.

The election of a democrat in Pennsylvania would allow Philly politics to spread throughout the state. That is what has happened here. We have elected a moderate democrat governor who is a likeable guy, but Lake County politics is starting to creep down here. Now Indianapolis, for the first time in 30 years, has a democrat mayor, and they control all city-county government. The state government isn't held in check by the legislature, because we lost that with the last election. They creep along, taking a little bit here and there, and pretty soon you are on the outside looking in.

Never, ever vote for a democrat! Never!
