Stoops Going To Florida

Bob Stoops is headed to Florida. That according to a report from a Florida TV station minutes ago. Mike stoops and others on the staff can tell you that they did not know of this decision until moments ago. More later.

Bravo Sierra is right! All I know is that the pilot of the UF plane, filed a flight plan for Denver. In fact, it was reported here probably 60 seconds after the plan was filed since he was flying out of the OU airport!

One of our sports reporters was in Danny's Steakhouse on Friday night when he received a call from a reporter in Gainesville asking where in FL Stoops was at since the Atlanta Constitution said he was in FL. Al told the reporter that Bob was sitting several tables over from him but the reporter wouldn't believe Al since the Atlanta paper said Bob was in FL.

This has sure showed how much the press makes up things. FL media should be ashamed of themselves for printing rumors as facts!

Can you spell R-E-L-I-E-F? What a roller coaster ride this has been. At least none of the press from here that I listened to said it was 100% sure he was going and most said the longer it went the less sure he would go to UF. The only thing they kept saying was it was 100% sure a Stoops would be coaching the Sooners in the Fall. Thank God Bob Stoops chose OU and Norman over UF and Gainsville.

Been a great day for Sooner fans everywhere!
