So let's get this straight. An armed suspected Terroist is kicked off this plane. Even if the pilot was right he was wrong. This Angry nervous hostile Terroist is set free inside a terminal where there are many planes for the taking and mostly unarmed people. A man with a very realistic looking badge and credentials. To do what??? Kill people???

Actually the SS agent is acting just like the initials imply.
Of all the FLEAs these are the ones that need scratching most.
What is it with agencies that us the Initials SS, just have to throw their weight around

And this agent is trusted to do what? Cause a confrontation?
Seems like this agent needs a little retraining time.
I sure wouldn't want a hot head like this on my security detail.
You would hope that everytime someone made a move that might look like danger but wasn't wouldn't be me with gunfire, but this guy sure leans that way.
Why didn't he offer to difuse the situation by giving the nervous pilot his gun for safe keeping?

Notice who the agent's lawyer is: John Relman. The guy has a track record of lawyering big discrimination cases (ex: Denny's restaurant). I wonder who called whom? And if the agent called Mr. Relman, how did the agent get Relman's name?

The pilot is the final word. The agent needs to get over it. They whine about no security, they whine when they attempt to create a secure environment. The agent is an idiot.

What an A-hole the agent is. Making a big public scene over this. Reminds me of the event last year when a Muslim intern for David Bonior was ushered out of the WH and boy all Hell broke loose. CAIR came crawling out of the woodwork and made a big ole' public stink. Suck it up and DEAL for God's sake.

Whenever the charge of discrimination is leveled at someone other than the government the proper response is "So What?".

After reading both the pilots and passengers claims and a report from the pilot and others, I am convinced that both the pilot and the agent are class A Clymers.
Final Call: Offsetting Clymers, no penalty....

If a snake is poisonous it doesn't have to be a rattlesnake to kill you.
If American doesn't fight this in court and win, the airline industry is washed up in this country. They will have to allow any terrorist that want on a plane to board.

Right now I support the pilot against some S.S.Agent who is supposed to operate quietly and unobtrusively.
A lot of people in our government like to throw their weight around,Remember Kennedy pushing the screener around at an airport,ON FILM.
Not to mention the terrorists who steered the planes into the WTC, Had Identification.
If I were Bush I would have this guy's position reevaluated since he makes too much NOISE for a Covert Job.
I would like to know how he was selected for the post,do they select 1 Irish ,1 Hispanic,1 Italian,1 English,1 Black, 1 Arab, this could go on all day.
Get a new agent ,a little more quiet than this one.

Well, now. I guess terrorists of middle eastern heritage everywhere can now relax and breathe a sigh of relief. Oh,...and they can keep those guns so long as they have a carbon copy of some federal-looking form.
This agent is an embarrassment and should be ashamed of himself.

The pilot was fully within his right and responsibility as commander of the plane. That is the kind of pilot I want when I am flying. If he erred, he erred on the side of caution. A good call.
The ss agent should grow up. From everything I have read, he had an attitude. What is his excuse for filing out paperwork three different ways in three attempts? He was pushing the envelop, trying to create an incident. President Bush has been embarrassed by someone who is supposed to be protecting him. Time to review the assignment. The agent needs to get with the program or be reassigned.

After several minutes, the pilot asked the agent and four other passengers to leave the plane to undergo further security checks. (All Arabs) That is what you posted. This is from the actual article:
After several minutes, the pilot asked the agent and four other passengers to leave the plane to undergo further security checks.
Perhaps you could provide the source for your assertion that the four other passengers were "all Arabs." It certainly is not contained within the article you posted.
Thanks in advance.

Lot's of different ways for sleepers and sympathizers to serve the cause....and making the airlines gun-shy about stopping Arab looking men with pistols, and bad credentials, could be one of them!
