Your absolutely right about that. He should be fired. We need pilots with good judgement.

I agree. The pilot did the right thing. I would expect the SS agent to be a complete professional and not a hot head.

I have a simple solution: Arm all of the passengers and let the A$$hole on board. Any trouble he starts will be brief and probably fatal for him. Problem solved. No baggage checks, no strip searches, no paperwork, and I can keep my wife calm with her knitting needles.
