backhoe, the ignorance, or misinformation, in my newspaper was so bad that I do not read it anymore. Television was even worse so now I get the truth and news from FreeRepublic. : )

I'm with you there- the web, and even slow, slow talk radio, gets a lot closer to the truth. I will say that my 2 local papers have excellent, conservative editorial pages- but- and it's a big "but"- they do use the wire services for national news, and it is pretty bad. Agitprop for the dumbell masses.
