Buddy got run over in Chappaqua
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve
You can say there's no such thing as Santa
But as for me and Hil'ry, we believe.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Really horrible, isn't it? I was just saying to someone on Christmas how differently the Clintons treat their pets than the Bush's do.
You can tell a lot from that. This speaks for itself. Why wasn't that poor dog on a leash? It's very sad for those of us who care about animals.

How very sad...

Thanks for the heads up!

Its the Clintons dog not Clinton himself I can't gloat over the death of a dog.

Wait a minute. Are you honestly insinuating that Clinton purposely killed his dog? That sounds a little over the top to me!
To: Ed_NYC
Barkancide?
To: village idiot
Supposedly, Socks is living with Betty Currie. A magazine recently did a spread on him with a picture of him being walked by Mz Currie on a leash. She said that none of the Clintons have ever visited him.
Shortly before Sock's being the subject of a news story, this picture was released from the Clinton Library preview exhibit. It looks like Socks got stuffed...I wonder if they will stuff Buddy too for the library? (Supposedly it is a cut out of Socks and Hillary..hee hee...they both look stuffed.)

I'm thinking of the Clinton Presidential Library and sort of a "Trigger"-like display. Will Bill have Buddy mounted?
To: mewzilla
How do we know the Toons weren't driving the car that hit Buddy? The Clintons don't drive. They're too busy looking in the mirror.

"We must also recall the sad experience of the Gore family dog. Found wandering, emaciated and covered with sores at the Vice Presidents official residence, the Gore family pet was taken to a vet for treatment."
Well, to be fair to Gore that's what happens to labradors at old age. Mine became that way within six weeks when she was 15. She wouldn't eat either. There was nothing the vets could do and we eventually had to put her to sleep.

Having only skimmed through all the comments to this thread, am I the first to coin the word: BARKINCIDE?
To: Ol' Sox
Socks is not dead. In the current People Mag. there is an article that says Socks was dumped by the normal(sarcasm/) First Family on Betty Curry. He now lives with her.

LOL- Not that Rainbow Bridge. I meant the place in heaven where all dogs go until their masters join them.

Another case of Arkancide. Buddy obviously knew too much.
To: Ed_NYC
He "just darted out in front of a car," said Officer Larry Green. Add Buddy to the Arkancide list.
He was no longer needed as a photo prop for the Clinton's
Nobody is home to take care of him
His food bill was drawing down the family slush fund
Then again, maybe possible suicide...Hillary might be coming home next weekend.
