FOFL. I'm afraid I couldn't stand the pressure of the book tour. I've laughed until I hurt about that but all of you were in great form and were just hilarious.

Hey Lisa, Yes, we only had snow for one evening. It started labout 10pm, it was very beautiful and it was all gone by noon the next day. It's the only way to have a snow. LOL. We had a couple of nights of really bitter cold for this part of the country but today was just lovely again. Of course, my camelia trees along with the banana tree have [robably had for the season. Hi, Habs,

No thankfully, I do not have the dizziness and the nausea that can be part of menieres. Those unlucky enough to have that have problems with the vestibular part of the inner ear. I have the cochelar problem so I deal with the fullness in the ear, pressure, roaring ( tinitus) and recruitment. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it does not go mixed, meaning the vestibular adds it's ingredients.

I have been on the diuretics and potassium chloride for 4 days now and I don't feel as off pace now as I did when I first started this stuff. And the ear has been clear..hearing ok.. But what makes menieres so difficult is that it is so unpredictable.

Thanks for caring and your good wishes. CEEGEE

I'm glad that the snow was short-lived. I cannot deal with the cold very well myself.
I'm sure the banana tree was not at all happy with the cold weather.
Well, on the other hand, we have a dessert out here called chocolate covered frozen bananas.
Maybe that will work for you. *S*

Thaks for the tip on the cookbook! I will look for it when I get to the bookstore! I am familiar with Paul Prudhomme and enjoy his little snippits on the breaks onour local news.

Hi, Westie... good to hear from you and all the others.

is it me or are the posts just really slow tonight? seems to take for ever!

We are off to SOCAL ( oh groan) to go to a wedding tomorrow and won't get back until Sunday! I hate driving down there! The traffic is the pits.

Someone is at the door.. be back in a bit.

I don't do cold weather well either or at least not for prolonged periods. Our banana trees usually bounce back better than ever so I'm hoping this one does... its only about 5' tall and not old enough to bear fruit yet. I hate it that the camelias took such a beating though. I have 3 in the backyard and 2 in the front. They have been loaded with blooms this year. I lost all the blooms or pods (?) on my ginger plants, too. They've been beautiful for weeks.

OMG Christine. You've gotta remember that one. You and I both just lost it. ROFLMBO. The Fox Fur Factory became a Fox Fux Factory, just like that, at the blink of a keyboard.

On the other hand, if you don't like real fur, you could go to the Faux Fox Fur Factory...

Hi Christine, nice to meet you. My name is Laura.

Habs, I didn't say I was shy. Sorry I had to leave last night but I was kind of tied up.

I think she'll quickly learn not to give us such an opening...
