I have no problem with your not wanting advertising. Still would like to know if someone saw that shirt referenced on FR, though.
More, I'd like to know how badly my mind has deteriorated.
Did I see it on FR at one time or not? Oh well - on to other search engines and other sites. Someone someplace will know.

Reminder: Free Republic is a non-commerical site. We cannot advertise or sell products on FR. Please do not post advertising banners or links to sites selling products or services. Do not use Free Republic for selling t-shirts, coffee mugs, books, tapes or any other merchandise. Please do not use Free Republic to raise funds for personal or outside causes or projects.

Roger that.

(I assume you meant to extend this to commercial material/links to commercial enterprises on Profile Pages as well).

Sir, I have just found a ping to this thread, so then I read your post just moments ago.

I would like to know if it is FR.com, or certain other enterprises that put pop-up ads on my puter screen when I browse around the FR.com site.

I seriously cannot tell, but it seems that FR.com is allowing the ugly phenomenon of pop up ads to be used to attempt to attract my attention. I personally believe that pop up ads, are comprised of the same insidious stuff that telemarketers use in order to disrupt my privacy, and the sanctity of my home.

I would like to think that FR is not involved with this BS, but it seems to me that here and now is a good opportunity to just ask the question. Is FR.com causing me to experience the pain in the ass of the stupid Pop-up ad aggravation?
