She's speaking at Oregon State University....but I joined in too late to answer whether ALL the questions were "informed" ones.

Pol Pot was a Communist. He was not installed by any American. The moron who is saying that he was a "fascist" and an "American puppet" illustrates how ignorance is embraced on campuses today.

She was a little off her game at the start of that night.

What I want to know is what happened after C-SPAN cut it off. She looked like she was about to take more questions and it all went black!

...such as when she stated that we should kill the leaders of moslem countries and convert their populaces to Christianity.

LOL!!!
You forgot the (/sarcasm) at the end of your post. But hey, unfortunately, there are people in this world who are actually stupid enough to think that Ann actually wanted to do these things, lol.

Well, I think when she made that statement initially she was perfectly serious.

Were the questions informed ones?

Some were excellent, others sounded just as confused and misinformed as Chomsky did.

She is the best in a radical way. That is the new way. In the lefts face.

Ann Coulter, well-known for her television appearances as a political analyst, is an attorney and

self-described "bomb thrower"

who has been dubbed "the Abbie Hoffman of the Right." Dubbed "one of the 20 most fascinating women in politics" by George magazine, Coulter has appeared on ABC's "This Week," "Good Morning America," NBC's "Today," "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher," CNN's "Larry King Live" and CNBC's "Rivera Live."

Yeah, that reminds me. Another reason I don't like her is that she is all too chummy with Geraldo!!

Great line: "When man stops believing in God, it's not that he now believes in nothing--it's that he will now believe in anything." Either C.S. Lewis or G.K. Chesterton.

What a great quote. This is always what came to my mind when reading Michael Rivero's posts here--explaining how someone so openly contemptuous of the idea of God could so easily fall for every goofy conspiracy theory in the world.

because she defined by some as a "leading conservative".

I think she's actually more than a leading conservative. Unfortunately, so many of our leading conservatives are gutless wimps. Ann Coulter understands freedom and federalism and thinks in terms of principles. So many of our leading conservatives are too frightened to stand up for their principles. She is good because she does not stray from her principles. She knows that this country could be so much better even than it already is if so many principles set forth in our founding documents were not ignored.

Well, I think when she made that statement initially she was perfectly serious.

You know, she may have been serious - - but more likely in a "venting" sorta way. About a week before she wrote that piece, thousands of innocent Americans who were simply going about their daily business were murdered in horrific fashion. She even had a friend, Barbara Olsen, who was killed in the Pentagon crash. So, whatever Ann said is fine and dandy with me. I just don't think it's nice for people to keep beating her up about it.

Regards,
LH

I think she likes throwing "verb bombs" because she has a huge ego and likes the attention she receives when she makes outrageous and/or downright stupid statements, such as when she stated that we should kill the leaders of moslem countries and convert their populaces to Christianity. Does she really think that is a realistic solution or was that an awfully bad joke??

Huge ego? I don't see that. What's the old saying? In the kingdom of the blind the one-eyed man is king? The blind might see the king as a bit egotistical?

Outrageous and/or downright stupid statements?

Which ones where "outrageous or stupid? Some were absurd, comical or sarcastic.

Some of the questions she received were pretty inane. But just about anything I've ever heard out of Ann Coulter's mouth is pure genius compared to most liberals. At a minimum she displays common sense. Something that seemed to escape those asking her questions.
