'Jihad Johnny' Linked to Flt. 63 Shoe Bomber

America's Tailban traitor "Jihad Johnny" Walker and Flight 63 shoe bomber Richard Reid were recruited to do Osama bin Laden's dirty work by the same extremist Muslim group currently operating all over the globe to build an anti-Western army to fight jihad, one Mideast expert contended Friday.

"The French newspaper La Provence reported Tuesday that Reid had been an acolyte of Tabligh-i-Jamaat," reports Islamic scholar Steven Schwartz in the New York Post. "U.S. media disclosed last week that Walker had been recruited by a San Francisco cell of the same group."

Schwartz says that Tabligh-i-Jamaat is a "conspiratorial Islamofascist movement" which "sources deep inside the Muslim community say unequivocally..... has indoctrinated its followers to fight for the Taliban."

While FBI investigators in California say they have turned up no evidence so far that Marin County 20-year-old was recruited to go to Pakistan and join the Taliban, San Francisco mosque leader Suleimann Ghali told Schwartz:

"Ninety-nine percent of the time, anybody traveling to Pakistan is going to hook up with the Jamaat."

Flt. 63 shoe bomber Reid joined Tabligh-i-Jamaat last year, only to reject it later as too moderate, according to Western media reports.

But, says Schwartz, "Other sources detail the long involvement of the movement with extremism. The Indian government and media have identified Tabligh with infiltration of the top levels of the Pakistani government and encouragement of anti-Hindu violence in Kashmir."

Islamofascist movement, or muslim fascist movement. Correct name, at last.
Who knows what the muslim religious leaders preach in their mosques. I haven't heard a streight condemnation of terrorism from the American muslim community so far. Did I missed it?
5th column is a serious threat to the national security.

Islamofascist movement, or muslim fascist movement. Correct name, at last.

Of course "fundamentalist" is the term preferred by those who wish to tar Christians with the Islamofascist brush.

By those, that is, who neither understand nor wish to, that fascism is a form of leftism--and that therefore the Christian "religious right" is essentially the opposite of Islamofascism.

I haven't heard a straight condemnation of terrorism from the American muslim community so far. Did I miss it?

No, you didn’t miss it. Although, you might have though it was drowned out by all the yelling about how islam is a “peaceful” religion and how no one better commit any “hate crimes” against their community.

It’s not in the muslim character to condemn something that’s supported in the Koran. Even if some do, you can rest assured that they’re in the vast minority of muslims or, much as we’ve seen from the Afganis, Pakis, and continuously from Al-Jazera, LYING

Note to U.S. Military: Just shoot the next American Johnny Jihad Talibanna Al Qaeda you come across and save us and you a whole lot of trouble AND expense.
This whole Moo-sow-wee, and Ricky "shoe-bomber" Reid and Johnny Jihad is going to become a O.J. fiasco. I saw on the news that Ricky "shoe-bomber" Reid is having his "bail hearing" this morning. I wonder how much it will cost him to be released on bond?

We should use Islamofascism (which I first saw used by Andrew Sullivan) and Islamo-Leftism interchangeably.

Starting in 1989, as the USSR collapsed, The New York Times and other newspapers that take themselves seriously started referring to old-line Russian Communists as "conservatives." Castro still has the respect of these liberal ideologues, but that's because he's still in power, jailing his opponents, which they admire.

In other words, these political terms tend to be used at the left's convenience.
