I have heard of repentance. In this instance, I suspect it is simply old age catching up. An aging hedonist is a interesting sight to see. Hugh Heffner is a good example. He is a pathetic human being.

Steve, this repentence thing is mostly a religious term. I don't think that aging hedonists have gotten religion. They have pretty much "shot their wad," and they are seeing the possible benefits of coming home every night to the same person. When once they could dance all night, they want to watch tv when they get home and just relax. That is not repentence, they just want a change in their life style.
