Someone who has lived a hedonistic lifestyle for many years is hardly a potential quality mate.

Ever heard of repentance?

It definitely feels like there are less quality women out there

Quality? Now that women have been liberated (from responsibility for their behavior), quality women are a thing of the past. The best that a man can hope for is disease free.

I personally observe the same. While complaining that there are no decent men available, they can't drop their drawers fast enough for a good looking womanizing stud. And then, expect some other sucker to help them deal with the problems they create.

I recommend sleazy bars, preferably within walking distance of a trailer park.

Wrong. Any bar. Any Neighborhood. For eight years, that included the White House.

I think your problem is that you're calling yourself a Dallas Gal and they don't know where Beford is. The good guys are looking for you. They just don't know where to find you.

"It definitely feels like there are less quality women out there," said Rengan Rajaratnam, 31, a hedge fund analyst in New York. "I stress about it. It's like they've all gone away or someone snatched them all."

heh heh he said "snatch" heh heh...

single women are scarcer this year than two years ago.

This is so true....In my house; at least. My wife threw out my last collection and won't allow me to keep anymore. :^))

For the roughly 5 million never-married men 30-39, there are only about 3.6 million never-married women 25-29.

Anybody notice they're using a 5-year age spread for women (25-29) versus a 10-year spread for men (30-39)? Of COURSE there are going to be more men than women in that group. What would the numbers be if they compared women 25-34 vs men 30-39?

Thirty-something men who want women in their mid- to late-20s will also find themselves competing. For the roughly 5 million never-married men 30-39, there are only about 3.6 million never-married women 25-29.

Isn't "single" the relevant category, rather than "never-married"? They're also comparing a ten-year age range for men with a five-year age range for women.

The underlying idea in this bogus article is that most men, regardless of age, want young women. If men 20-50 y.o. compete for women in their twenties, there will be a shortage of women. Woe betides the woman over thirty who wants to marry, however.

Marriage, as we have known it, is dying, and will breathe its last this century.

Once again, I'll point out this little gem in the article (which I seem to remember has been posted here before).

Thirty-something men who want women in their mid- to late-20s will also find themselves competing. For the roughly 5 million never-married men 30-39, there are only about 3.6 million never-married women 25-29.

So, there are roughly 1.5 times as many never-married (NM) men 30-39 as NM women 25-29? Why is this surprising? The age range quoted for the men is 10 years, but the age range for the women is 5 years. The relevant data would be NM women aged 30-39 (or perhaps 25-34 or something similar) compared to NM men aged 30-39. I would guess that the number of NM men and women in any similar age range would be roughly the same.

I wonder how much an impact the immigration of single men into the U.S. has on this.

Guys; in this society, if you are having a hard time meeting eligible women, then you are a LOSER, plain and simple. Eligible women are EVERYWHERE; this article is nonsense.

Yeah, you are right about that. What I want to know is why did all the women wait until I was married before they started coming on to me? For some reason, many women like to go after married men. I guess they have a thing for breaking up families. They seem to thrive on creating turmoil.
