This is true. I think it is that they "want what they can't have" phenomenon.

Women can be very catty. Speaking about FAT chicks: have you ever noticed that every somewhat hot girl has a slightly larger, mostly uglier counterpart? It makes them more attractive in comparison.

After I was married, women were crawling out of the woodwork (old girlfriends, women at work, etc.). It was flattering. Then, I had a son...fugetaboutit! I was in the store (my wife 15 feet away and just outside of view) and two (yes, count them TWO) girls came up and started hitting on me. (I know it wasn't me...the kid is a babe magnet). UNBELIEVABLE!

I used to be in a band with a 6 foot babe with the most incredible body, perfect proportions...between the ears, well anyway. Her roomate was exactly as you described. It all has to do with self-esteem dynamics, IMO.

In my experience women want the bank balance and could care less about decent. For example, this lady I work with has a boyfreind that treats her like crap and shacks up with her rather than marrying her. He makes a big paycheck and after two years still has'nt decided whether he wants to marry her. She is fool for allowing this. Ah but the money is such a lure...

Poverty and dead beat do not necessarily go together.

Yeah, but most guys aren't any better. And the people that don't do it sometimes become colateral damage to the standards and practices of the general population. If guys really wanted to change this, they could start by policing their own; when fewer guys are on the prowl, fewer women will be as well, even if only a consequence of lower availability.
