You lost me right here. Growing up in an Italian household, I believe in traditional roles for men and women. The men cut the grass, shovel the snow, fix the car, etc, and the women do the dishes, wash the clothes, etc. My parents have done this for forty years and there was never any arguments over who does what in the household. It's the marriages where the lines and chores are blurred (i.e. he does the dishes sometimes, she does them sometimes, etc) that problems develop.

Yeah, right! Decent guys finish last. Personal observation indicates most women 'want' the bad boys yet will publicly profess to seek the decent guys. Big difference between what they say and what they do.

I truely believe that a vast majority of women like 'junior high school antic bad boys' ... and ... men like 'Grace Kelly glamour' types who they think will stay in a size 8 after 1-4 kids.

When self-centerness is replaced with respect, manners and morality, a whole new crop of available people appear.

Makes you wonder what all these men were doing in their twenties and early thirties. They were too busy trying desperately to get rich, make material wealth, climb the corporate ladder, etc. So, rather than work on establishing long-lasting friendships and relationships with women, these men figured they could fool around with a bunch of casual relationships until thirty or so when they figured they "could settle down."

All I can say is it is pretty dam* ironic. Who's the fool now? In this world there are FEW things that last (and a high-level job in a comapany with stock options is not one of them).

Besides where you will spend eternity, the most important decision in this life is who you will marry. Too bad these men didn't think a little bit about their future while they were busy striving for wealth.

Oh yeah THAT sure sounds fair!

The grass gets cut ONCE a week.
The car breaks down ONCE a year.
The snow gets shovelled...in winter only

Meanwhile....
The clothes are washed EVERY day
The washing up is done THREE times a day
The meals are prepared and cooked THREE times a day
The dusting is done THREE times a week
The beds are made EVERY day.
