But it's so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!:) :) :)
Great job of starting the thread, MozartLover. You did really good.
It's 23 here again in VA, paper says to expect the cooler temperatures for a week. Still better than minus temps.
Please advise everyone that numerous references to SNOW are not only acceptable but ENCOURAGED on the thread today. :) :) :)
Also desired: any Packers references, esp. those referring to how badly they are going to embarrass the Viqueens this Sunday.:) :) :)
AND.......out of curiousity......does anyone have an explanation of why the left-handed OBL not only does not USE his left hand in his latest video.....he actually has it BEHIND HIS BACK???? I noticed this immediately and someone on other thread has made reference to it.......
Well, it' s no w onder with all that yelling goin' on. :-)
Saw your post to me last night too...but I am in much need of beauty sleep, so I have been crashing early...LOL
The arm is coming along nicely...it's still red, but much better now.
My sister made it home the day after Christmas, she is doing ok, no long term things you can "SEE" from the damage, but she is on different meds so its a wait and see thing.
ML - Am leaving tomorrow, so what to write a bit about that anesthesia business today.
In the past few years,I've had experience with both general and another kind called MAC.
The latter is what was used for my recent surgery, plus I saw it used with my mother when she had cataract surgery 2 months ago.
She and I had nearly identical experiences, very positive, with it.
The anesthesiologist did an interview, gave me something to relax me, and pre-surgery, I fell asleep.
when I woke up just before being taken to surgery, I asked if I could go back to sleep!
The doctor cranked up the IV, and back to sleep I went, only to wake up 1/2 an hour later, as the nurse and dr. were cleaning up my hand.
The MAC is short-acting, but if you want to be totally asleep, you can be.
The very good thing is that you wake up feeling better, and able to eat immediately, talk, whatever. No bad after-effects.
Remember to keep your foot above your heart in the days post-surgery.
We've joked about it, but this is what keeps the swelling down, and thus the pain! VERY IMPORTANT!
Whatever you decide, it'll go well, and we'll be praying for you and missing you!
Glad your arm is still mending nicely!
Slow start here...I think I am recovering from grandchildren!
Molly, did you catch the little dig on Kristol's "national humiliation" article buried in that piece by Ditmer? Ha! The more Kristol is debunked, the happier I am!
ML - Great start to the thread this A.M.(or is that last P.M.?!?!? LOL)
In refrence to your question above: To those of us here in the south, S**W is a nasty four lettered word which should not be used in polite company!! If'n y'all want to keep that there frozen water fallin' from YOUR sky up NORTH, then have at it! Just do me a favor and KEEP it up there!!!! (After spending 5 1/2 years in Northern Maine, I've seen all the s**w I need to see for a lifetime!!! LOL)
We were never in doubt, were we!!??
Ready to resume my painting project today on John's room. And you'll be getting back to wallpapering soon too!
Wake up Guenevere! He, he...turn-about is fair play!!LOL!
Just a ratings ploy??? We shall see.
I love the bathroom wallpaper. It's pale blues/grays pinks/rose colors with waterlilies and ponds. Appropriate...don't you think? Very nice paper.
You'll never guess where I bought it.....the Dollar Store....2 rolls for a buck. I probably will have to use paste on it. The paper is of a heavy duty quality. I have opened a few rolls and there seems to be no flaws. I love bargains.
The bedroom paper has the same colors only no pattern....just small swirly thingys. Same price. :-)
