Odd reaction. This is simply a report, in a credible paper, what the writer experienced. It is chilling, but it is revelatory, not a "whine." Hatred of Israel is indeed rampant, even on this forum.

I do not believe that any Jewish person can be objective about Israel (all of my Jewish relatives admit, to their credit, that they are not objective and that they have a strong emotional attachment to Israel which colors their strongly pro-Israel views).

This is similar to jury selection. No one who is friends or a relative of a party to a lawsuit may sit on the jury. It is absurd to suggest that such jurors could be completely objective.
