I just wanted to let everyone know that NORAD will be tracking Santa Claus again this year on their web site. My son and I had a lot of fun following his travels last year. You can get started here: http://www.noradsanta.org.

Every year they track him, and every year he flies around in our airspace without a valid visa, and without even clearing customs.
One of these years our F-16's will get this guy.

I know we are scheduled to track here in Fairbanks, it is one of the bright spots in the year. I believe we will be using the 85' dish this year, the smaller 40' just didn't have the gain we needed. Check us out at

What about people that ask for C4 for Xmas this year? Will he be entering our airspace with it??

Let's pray that Santa Claus is all they have to track. :-)

My apologies to you and everyone else, I was unaware that our website had been modified. It used to have all kinds of pictures and some great information on it. Sorry for wasting your time with that link.

He could very well be mistaken for a terrorist and shot down with that full beard and a rag cap on his head.

I feel better knowing that the Candians will at least scramble a couple of jets to make sure that a launch from the North Pole isn't a ICBM or a bomber. Nice to see that are doing something to help in our defense. ;-)

LOL!! Thanks, friend! But do they track him from the
true North Pole or merely the magnetic? ;^)

Darned spoiled kids! When I was a kid, we managed to track Santa with the weather
radar on one of the three channels our television could barely pick up...
and that worked just fine!!!
Now these young punks get a whole wing of the military to do the job-sheesh!

NORAD has the Santa tracking radar on line. He's already been to a few places. I can't get the .rm files to play. Can anyone help? Does it work for you?
