It's true, criminals don't obey gun laws. But there's less of a supply of guns that criminals can get ahold of. I'm living in England now, and yes there is crime, but not nearly as much gun crime as in the U.S.

Nonetheless, I am not--NOT--NOT!!!--advocating England-style gun laws in the U.S. There are two different countries, different cultures, and what makes sense in one country doesn't always make sense in another.
