A Freeper's observation: A news source that conservatives can get along with.

HOWDY FREEEPRS!!!!

I've been reading a number of threads and posts from people this morning who are so extastic about Fox News being added to their cable lineup. Let me be the next, if not the very first to congradulate those who have achieved sucess in getting Fox News added to their cable lineup.

For the last couple of years, Fox News Channel has had a place here at the kitchen table here at our house in Southwest Oklahoma. FNC was just recently added to Lawton Cablevision's lineup. It was added to ours in 1998.

It is the only news source that does not present liberal or progressive viewpoints as neutral. It is the only news source that treats conservatives with the dignity and respect that we deserve. And it is the only news source that does not talk down to conservatives as though we're too stupid to know anything and need to be lectured like other news sources do.

No more yelling at the T.V. No more throwing bricks at the T.V. No fussing with conservatives about their political beliefs. Fox News Channel has been, is and will continue to be a part of my household for many more years to come. When I'm not entertaining guests, it is the only channel that plays on my T.V. That is except when my local T.V. newscast comes on or when there is important breaking news (e.g. severe weather) that I watch on the local T.V. news station. Fox News Channel and I get along a lot better than any other national news source that I've watched before it came on. It is news reported the way I want, fair and balanced. NOT biased in favor of the Demorats, liberal or progressives.

If your cable company doesn't carry FNC or has no plans to, dump it and get a satellite dish. DIRECT TV and Dish Network carry FNC in their lineup.

And don't worry about missing important severe weather information because you dumped cable. A lot of newstalk radio stations are very good about providing severe weather information for their respective listening areas.

Again, congradulations to those who have been sucessful in getting Fox News on their cable and continued good luck to those who are still trying.

I dont know what I would do without my nightly fix of Bill O'Reiley. I also wake up to Fox and Friends in the morning now. I would never rely on another TV news source again.

FR and Foxs News is wehre I get all of my news from. Thanks to Jim for having FR.

Yes, we got cable in October and I am SO much happier with my FOX news channel...we used to watch just the local fox news, but now even my husband will watch Bill O'Reilly. He told me last night that he saw NBC's report earlier (I was upset at him for that!) and he noticed how different the spin was on this stimulus package. NBC spins it so Bush is to blame for the bill not passing, while FOX states it like it is and puts the blame squarely on the Senate Leader, Tom Daschle for not EVEN bringing it to the floor for a VOTE!

Brit Hume and Tony Snow are the class of the operation

I only switch away to catch the local weather update once in awhile.

That really says a lot, when you think about it . . .
Fox News isn't available to anyone who just uses VHF/UHF antennae

Fox News isn't even available to everyone who subscribes to cable

Fox News get better ratings than CNN, tho less than all the government-preferred networks which can be received by just tuning to channel 2 or channel 4 or channel 7 (in NYC area).

FreeRepublic is accessible worldwide, but only is accessed by conservatives who know about it; VHF viewers darn well find channels 2, 4, and 7.

At no time has every citizen exercised his/her constitutional right to own and operate a printing press, but we-the-people never gave the government constitutional mandate to give addresses for ABC, CBS, etc which are profoundly preferential over our "FreeRepublic.com".
