WAR FOR ENDURING FREEDOM 12/20/01
<========================>
REPORTS:
WASHINGTON, 12/19/01
Osama bin Laden is "either dead in some tunnel, or he's alive," Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said.
"If he's alive, he's either in Afghanistan or he isn't," Rumsfeld said at a Pentagon briefing today. But, the secretary said, the point is "it does not matter. We'll find him one day."
The Al Qaeda leader's demise or capture will not end the threat of global terrorism, because, Rumsfeld said, Bin Laden is not "the entire problem."
"The Al Qaeda is the entire problem, and the other terrorist networks are the problem." Rumsfeld said he believes Bin Laden will be found. "We'll get him," he said.
Asked what the U.S. officials would do if Bin Laden turned up "thumbing his nose at you," Rumsfeld replied, "We will go see about that thumb."
Bin Laden is only one of the terrorist chiefs capable of leading Al Qaeda. The terrorist group has cells in 50 to 60 countries, Rumsfeld said.
"We have made it very clear for a period of months that if these people go somewhere else, we'll go find them," Rumsfeld said.

God Bless our Troops and God Bless America
"Ya hoser!"
I have this semi-short-term memory problem especially with movies... Folks' names and conversations too... Cain't remember worth dogsh!t... That's why I went into physics 'cause all you got to remember is F equals m a, and something about h bar...
So everybody sits around quoting sh!t and I say "What's that from, sounds familiar" and somebody says "Cheech and Chong, ya retard" and I say "Oh yeah well it's been a couple months..." It's a handicap, it really is. I should apply for federal aid. The only thing I can remember from Reservoir is somebody duct-taped to a chair. And Harvey Keitel in a suit. And lots of blood.
... bimp
This was my favorite:"On the USS Kittyhawk, the crew spells "FREEDOM"."
I love Donald Rumsfeld. Go get that thumb, sir!
I love our military. The people. The machines. The ships. The planes. The weapons of war that pave the way to peace.
It is so awesome to see Rummy, whose first tour of duty as Sec'y of Defense was one massive post-dem clean up op, get a chance to work the job as a fighter. The fact that our military sprang to life so quickly after Clinton shows me something of what our service men and women are made of.
God bless America and all her people.
Anyone else think the guy on the right resembles the CIA 'Dave'
who was with M. Spann in the Mazar-i-Sharif compound? This guy looks
kinda like the profile we saw in that video footage.
