Thanks for the great Pics, especially the "Anti-Terrorist" protest. The spanking the Taliban has recieved is sending a message.
God Bless our Troops and God Bless America

as soon as I read that all I could think of was Mr. White in "Reservoir Dogs"!!!!
To: Diogenesis
I believe the weapon this soldier is preparing to shoot is an Egyptian MAADI, A variation of the AK, I guess Egypt is supplying them to the Northern or Eastern Alliance?

Dude I need to watch that again. I think the last movie I saw was
Strange Brew or something...
"Ya hoser!"
I have this semi-short-term memory problem especially with movies... Folks' names and conversations too... Cain't remember worth dogsh!t... That's why I went into physics 'cause all you got to remember is F equals m a, and something about h bar...
So everybody sits around quoting sh!t and I say "What's that from, sounds familiar" and somebody says "Cheech and Chong, ya retard" and I say "Oh yeah well it's been a couple months..." It's a handicap, it really is. I should apply for federal aid. The only thing I can remember from Reservoir is somebody duct-taped to a chair. And Harvey Keitel in a suit. And lots of blood.

Then the next thing Rummy should say to anyone who thumbs their nose at us should be:
"You gonna bark all day little doggy, or you gonna bite?"

Here's one from the Hindustan Times:

A disabled Afghan man rides a motorised side-car down a Kandahar street on December 18, 2001. The man, who was wounded while fighting the Russians, built his contraption with the parts from three different motorbikes, and a bit of help from the UN. (AFP)

Afghans playing "goatball". That's a scream MinuteGal. Did you catch the earlier picture of Santa Claus in New Delhi. Looks like he traded his bag of goodies for a sword.

Meanwhile, from the Mindanao front:

"The Philippine Army Sgt. Edwin Corpuz feels the grip of a caliber 50/7.62 sniper rifle before the formal turn-over ceremony of US military equiptment Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001 at the Army headquarters in suburban Makati. The equiptment was part of what the U.S. President George Bush pledged to the Philippine government which was badly needed in its effort in fighting terrorism and the on-going operation to rescue two Americans and a Filipino hostage from the muslim extremist group the Abu Sayyaf. Dear God I love my country.
I love Donald Rumsfeld. Go get that thumb, sir!
I love our military. The people. The machines. The ships. The planes. The weapons of war that pave the way to peace.
It is so awesome to see Rummy, whose first tour of duty as Sec'y of Defense was one massive post-dem clean up op, get a chance to work the job as a fighter. The fact that our military sprang to life so quickly after Clinton shows me something of what our service men and women are made of.
God bless America and all her people.

I've got a MAADI, and that ain't one. To my eye, it looks closest to a
Galil, but I don't think it's one of those either.
To: Tree of Liberty
I have a Galil w/folding stock, the fore wood looks simular, but my Galil has a carry handle and the wood is much darker, But I guess it could be a galil, I just never seen one with a wood stock and grip

I was nineteen when I saw my first Bushkashi. Talking about a cultural shock. All these men screaming and shouting as the men on horse back hit a goat head (with the little tongue hanging out the side) with sticks. That was the first time I saw the fickle nature of these men. THey would run from one side to the other as the score changed. Didn't want to be rooting for the loser ya know.

Anyone else think the guy on the right resembles the CIA 'Dave'
who was with M. Spann in the Mazar-i-Sharif compound? This guy looks
kinda like the profile we saw in that video footage.
