Impossible! Just as Islam is a religion of peace, so is it impossible for a member of a minority group to commit a "hate crime."

Exactly. This is a myth. Minorities have no power to commit hate crimes.

But if somehow the impossible is true, the racial epithet is far more harmful than the beating and the robbery. Who cares about a few broken bones? Who cares about theft? And even possible death? They used a racial epithet. And that is what really hurts!
