Just for fun! Test your IQ, and get the gift of self-knowledge this Christmas! It doesn't take long, and it's relatively painless. It's scientifically accurate as well! Give it a shot!!

It's just a bad question, there were a lot of bad questions on that test.

He likes SQUARES. Get it?Does he like squares, or does he just like the biggest number? (I guessed squares... maybe I lost a few points there)

No, because lending a "hand" and pointing a "finger" both rely on the same appendage.

Your level of formal education and your familiarity with taking these kinds of tests also influence how well you do. That's part of the reason IQ tests aren't a perfect measure of your intelligence. Your score would probably be quite different if the IQ test was designed to take into account your musical, artistic, emotional and social skills. I will argue against this til the day I die; intelligence is not knowledge, it is the ability to acquire and use knowledge; logic and reasoning are in the end social skills but do predict intelligence when measured at an early age.
As with all my posts (polemics), this is my personal opinion and carries no scientific weight but if I am wrong then we should all score higher as we age, but, do we? I haven't; still at 140 +- 10 on the Stamford Binet scale.
This site is a "massage session" you can't score poorly, why, your feel-bads might get hurt.

Ever see the Saturday Night Live skit, one of their fake commercials, for a product called "Oops I Crapped My Pants" ? Heh heh... Basically the same ad with the product names swapped, which made it pretty funny. Unless of course you have a tendency to crap your pants.LOL! I think they tend to advertise it more for bladder leakage, but -- close enough!! *G*

Well, I scored 122 and am an Inventive Inquisitor. I think I messed up the Bell Curve. Heck, I already knew that.

Doesn't the law say citizens have MORE rights than police officers? So when the law says a policeman is prohibited from doing things, but doesn't mention civilians, don't civilians have that right?

The anagram question was defective. England is both a STATE and a COUNTRY.This is true. I almost let it mess with my head when it came to things like that, but then I remembered my favorite motto: Simplify, simplify, simplify! It worked! ;-}

I did get "Point the finger", which was the correct answer for that one but I didn't see a strong logical application to the question. "Shout an insult" would've worked as well.I can see the logic in that, but there are fingers on the "helping hand." Sometimes, the more obvious, the better! *G*

Here is the original thread where this discussion was taking place, as well as the law as written in the WA statutes. Follow the arguments for both sides and let me know what you think.
I will be calling some WA prosecutors and judges to see if I can get someone to shed some more light on the subject.

Funny how everyone wants to say Depends, just as everyone says Crackerjacks; it is Depend and Crackerjack for your information; they are both trademarks but they dropped the "s" for obscure legal reasons, I guess - check the boxes at the store if you doubt my veracity.

I couldn't figure that one out either. I hate analgrams. They either strike me as obvious, i.e. whatever it is just jumps out at me with no effort, or I can't figure them to save my soul; there's nothing in between.
A couple of other experiences I've had with the Princeton based Educational Testing Service in particular lead me to view all such tests slightly askance. In the last instance, some clown from ETS came to Norwich and wanted us all to take a beta of a new test for diplomats, the idea being to listen to instructions in English and then take a Russian comprehension test and the guy brought in a tape recorder from the mid fifties when they first sold tape recorders to the public and nobody could understand the stuff in English, much less Russian. I got up and walked out halfway through the instructions with some harsh words to the turkey on the way.

I got 131. I swear, it's higher. Not that 131 isn't high, it's just that I took another test a while ago and it said 158. It must have been that it took me a long time beacuse I was distracted. Or maybe they didn't take into consideration the fact that I'm only 14. Or maybe I'm in denial.
